Week 1


Calling upon the name of the Lord, enjoying the riches of Christ

God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truthfulness. (John 4:24)
...Thus declares Jehovah, who stretches forth the heavens and lays the foundations of the earth and forms the spirit of man within him, (Zechariah 12:1)

Monday key point: The origin of our spirit is God; our human spirit is created by God to fulfill the purpose of God's creation. Further reading.

The spirit of man is the lamp of Jehovah, searching all the innermost parts of the inner being. (Proverbs 20:27)

The Lord be with your spirit. (2 Timothy 4:22)

Tuesday key point: Our spirit is a vessel for contacting and containing the Spirit of God. We should exercise to stop our soul and use our spirit.Further reading.


The first man Adam became a living soul; the last Adam became a life-giving Spirit. (1 Corinthians 15:45)
But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit. (1Corinthians 6:17)

Wednesday key point: Christ is now the life-giving Spirit in our human spirit as our life and life supply. We need to establish the habit of exercising our spirit.Further reading.


To the church of God which is in Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, the called saints, with all those who call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in every place, (1 Corinthians 1:2)
For the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. (Romans 10:12)

Thursday key point: The Lord's name is His person who is the all-inclusive Spirit. Calling upon His name is the way to enjoy Him. Further reading.

Always rejoice, Unceasingly pray, In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-19)
As the living Father has sent me and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also shall live because of Me. (John 6:57)

Friday key point: Calling upon the name of the Lord is to pray with our spirit, our spiritual breathing.Further reading.
